MARILYN MONROE DRY MOUNTED PHOTOS
This lot contains two dry mounted photographic book plates featuring Marilyn Monroe. They were made by taking the original photographic plates out of a book and having them dry mounted onto a buffered acid free 2X backing board with acid free glue. This is a great way to save the plates in a more permanent form.
The larger plate measures approximately ten and three quarter inches tall by eight inches wide and the smaller plate measures approximately ten inches tall by six and one quarter inches wide. Being dry mounted gives the plates a stiffness so that they will not easily crease or bend. They look much better than my digital photo is able to display and would make an impressive display for any collector of Marilyn memorabilia!
